Le roc du Montalet
Dès les ruelles de Lacaune, aux ambiances déjà montagnardes, l’ascension vers le sommet du Montalet s’effectue dans l’atmosphère ouatée de hêtraies magnifiques. Au rocher de la Vierge, le regard peut embrasser tout le sud du Massif central.

When to go
Snow possible from December to March Highest point: 1,233 m.
Above 1,200 m, snow can cover the waymarks and make the route hard to follow. Ask locally before setting off out of season.
Best season: April to November.
